In 1993, First Choice Credit Union expanded its field of membership to include Florida State licensed professionals. It came to our attention that many of these professions did not have access to a credit union at that time. We were excited to be able to offer the benefits of a cooperative to all the diverse professions that make the economy thrive.

Since that time, we have attracted members representing the majority of professions. We have a strong following with many of the groups. We also expanded eligibility even further to include individuals holding a professional license from the State of Florida and living or working in Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, St. Lucie, Okeechobee, Glades or Hendry counties.

We have found that individuals in specific professions often share similar characteristics and are interested in similar value and service from a financial institution. We are fortunate to get good word of mouth among many of our professional groups.
