Starfish Savings Club
Learning and Earning
Our Starfish Savers Club provides children with a savings account, plus gives children initiative to save extra money. In addition to savings, for every deposit into their Starfish Saver’s Club account, your children will earn a Starfish stamp, which can be redeemed at the credit union for cool prizes. Children under the age of 12 can learn to save money with a minimum deposit of $5.

Make Saving Fun
Whether saving for a bike, a toy, or a DVD, our Starfish Savers will learn about the value of money.
Some important items to note:
- The child must have their own Social Security number when the account is opened. (A copy of the card will be accepted if a single parent, grandparent, or guardian doesn’t have the child’s actual card.)
- A parent, grandparent, or guardian must be a joint owner on the account.
Each member’s account is insured to at least $250,000 by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the Federal Government. All Individual Retirement Accounts are separately insured to $250,000 by the NCUA.
